FRANCE DECODED has chosen destinations outside of Paris, and guest houses which enable our travelers to spend at least 3 nights in one particular home and have their days packed with a variety of experiences, ranging from the visit of a medieval village, to outdoor activities, and bien sur, wine tasting at the local vineyard.

We, of course, work on customized trips with all our travelers, but below are the areas that we currently focus on. We have tried to keep a balance between discovering an area and not spending too much time on the road.

One may choose to mix up these proposed itineraries, of course, and there is absolutely nothing wrong about veering south from the Loire Valley to reach Provence (the drive is a little longer, that’s all...)

Modes of transport
Our travelers take advantage of the extensive fast train network to get from Paris to their destination in record time and comfort in the fastest train in the world - an experience in itself!

Upon arrival, they pick up their car and they can get on the road! We provide our travelers with detailed road maps and written itineraries to get from one point to the other. Driving in France does take some adjustment, and you may get lost once in a while, but one quickly gets used to it and there is nothing quite like making your own way at your own pace.

At the end of their adventures, our travelers simply return their car at a train station and get back to Charles de Gaulle Airport.
