2 weeks: Paris/Fontainebleau/Loire Valley/Normandie
Dear Caroline,
Thank you so much for our totally magical holiday in France. It's a country I've always wanted to visit. While I know there are all kinds of tours we could have taken, nobody but you could have shown us the little-known parts. The little cafes, the forest walks, even walking the branches!!!
Our itinerary was just perfect for our family with the stunning chateaux (and lovely wines) of Loire Valley, the country roads through quaint villages, the beaches in Normandy, the forests at Fontainebleau, the thrilling experience of Puy du Fou and of course, Paris.
Can't thank you enough and can't wait to do another trip. This time to the South of France!!!

Dear Caroline,
We just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in to make our French holiday the perfect vacation. We had a wonderful time. It was an amazing trip with every little detail taken care of. Thanks to you we didn't have to worry about anything.
The Indian restaurant was a really nice thought and the other places you suggested were also very good. It's nice to have someone guide you in a foreign country and, Caro, you did a great job.
We really enjoyed driving along the coast and would recommend it to anyone who is confident about their driving and have driven in a foreign country before.
The language tips you gave us were very helpful. People were more eager to help if one tried to communicate in French.
Thanks again for making our holiday so memorable.
Take care

Dear Caroline,
We were very lucky and fortunate to have been introduced to Mme Caroline Juneja of “France Decoded”” when we were completely at a loss as to how to set about planning our 7 day outing to France. The panic was, firstly, because we preferred to do the trip without going on a conducted tour, and at our own pace. Secondly, we didn’t speak a word of French, were afraid of all the warnings on the internet of the supposed hazards of being in Paris, and to top it all are rather senior citizens. And thirdly, we wanted to get a real genuine first hand feel of the spirit that makes France, France and what it is best known for.
Caroline quite understood our requirements at first go and offered us various alternatives to choose from. We had some discussions over these and she finally put us up with some very fine and hospitable English speaking people in a typical French locality. She provided us with a write-up of that neighborhood along with the bus and tram connections from there to Central Paris and elsewhere. She gave us a must, should and could personalized listing of places, restaurants and night entertainment places for us to visit. She gave us a day to day itinerary to follow. In short she made things so easy and convenient for us by providing us all that we really needed to make the best out of our France trip. The inputs provide by her made us put away our Lonely Planets and Michelin or such other guides thereafter.
Take care

Dear Caroline,
I loved the Louvre. A few hours are not enough to see this place and I do hope I will get to go again. We of course did the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysee etc. We managed to do a lot of the touristy stuff. And the wine!!! We used to buy different kinds of wine from the shop you had recommended in our neighbourhood and sample it with our meal each day. Great fun.
One day we just relaxed and spent half a day at the Opera area. It was lovely. And of course we shopped like mad at the Lafayette mall. I was amazed to see how well dressed the French are, and the clothes which are available are a little steep but very well cut.
Many people had warned us that the French are very standoffish and unfriendly but our experience was quite the opposite. We got a lot of unsolicited help. People came up to us and kindly offered help with directions etc. Very nice of them. Many thanks to you, Caroline, for all your help with the planning. I do hope France decoded will be able to send many more Indians to this very charming and wonderful place.
Au revoir and merci.

Dear Caroline,
This is to thank you for making our trip successful. The many tips that you gave us, really helped us a great deal. We managed the Berthillon ice cream, Falafel, kir, quiche and warm goat cheese salad. Only thing we didn’t have time for was the macarrons from Laduree! We saw all the important touristy places including Versailles. Our host was warm and friendly. He gave a lot of information on how to go about things.
Most important was the absolute central location of his house, which made moving around convenient. Thanks again
Take care
