The Company
FRANCE DECODED is an Indian company, registered as a “sole proprietorship.” The company was founded by its current director, Caroline Juneja.
Caroline is a French national, born and brought up in France. She has been living in India with her Indian husband and children for the last 10 years.
What We Do
FRANCE DECODED’s purpose is to organise and facilitate trips to France.
In Paris, we guide you to “not-to-be-missed” sites as well as other, more Parisian activities. By providing detailed itineraries and road routes, we help you find your way out of Paris and into the provinces of France to enjoy a more relaxed French way of life and discover the great natural beauty and heritage of France.
We have a great network of hotels, guesthouses and self-catering accomodation throughout France, where the owners have been selected, amongst other things, for their proficiency in English. We also provide simple and fun guidance on French customs, attitudes, language, food, etc...
We provide the following services:
1. Development of customised itineraries.
- Paris and its environs
- Regions/towns/villages
- En-route places of interest/scenic routes/lunch stops
- Recommended restaurants and Cafés, including vegetarian restaurants
- Special interests (outdoors, sports, cooking and wine tasting, activities for children, etc.)
- Detailed road maps and route itineraries
2. Booking of accommodation.
- Focus on guesthouses (home stay) and self-catering accommodation throughout France.
- Character properties with a maximum of 5 rooms in character villages or places of natural beauty
3. Booking of internal transportation
- Air and rail travel
- Car rentals
4. Round the clock English-speaking French partners
HOW WE FUNCTION
- After interacting with potential customers we finalise and budget a custom made itinerary.
- The entire amount is due in advance upon confirmation of the itinerary by cheque, cash or bank transfer.
- Any refunds due to changes or cancellations will be strictly governed by the cancellation policies of the respective properties/vendors.
- We charge a nominal service fee equal to 10% of the total ground costs of the trip (this fee is necessary as most of the exclusive properties we work with do not work on a commission basis).
- We leave international airfare bookings to our customers’ preferred travel agencies.
- FRANCE DECODED is not responsible for any accident, illness, damage, loss or theft of property, lost luggage, unforeseen changes in itineraries which may occur in the course of the trip and/or activities organised or booked by FRANCE DECODED.
- It is advised to take adequate insurance precautions when traveling to France.
